Clay

I’ve lived most of my life in southern California. I’ve been writing my fitness and nutrition programming for 8+ years. I served in the 75th Ranger Regiment for four years before moving back to California to make HTG my full-time job. Currently, I’m training for an ultra-marathon, but I have competed in everything from CrossFit to triathlons. I am PNL1 certified and constantly learning information I can take into nutrition coaching and programming. My hobbies include surfing, reading, romantic walks on the beach, and getting a chest pump on leg day.

Ben

I grew up in Sacramento, California, and have been programming for myself and people I know since high school. I have 5+ years of Special Operations experience in the 75th Ranger Regiment. I’m currently training for the CrossFit Open. Writing programs for functional fitness and running are my passions which I bring to HTG. Recently obtaining my CFL1 was a big step in my long road of knowledge that I will be expanding on soon to bring the highest quality service to HTG. My hobbies include surfing and romantic walks on the beach with my wife and dog. Grilling prime cuts of meat and getting a leg pump on chest day is up on that list too.

HTG was created by us at this exact grill, brainstorming how we wanted to change the fitness industry by doing things differently to get real results that last. If that’s not American, we don’t know what is.
